Hi, I'm Alexander Clark, I'm an Australian that has been studying and developing my game related skills since high school. Currently I am searching for any kind of job.
I am passionate 3D artist that is experienced in creating game ready assets optimized for pc
and mobile. I have a strong focus on procedural assets, clean topology and optimized uv maps.
My current skillset is broad as I am a firm believer of that understanding the entire pipeline helps deliver a better product, what I mean is I love to put time in to understanding the entire process of game development, putting myself into the shoes of other roles, It helps build a better understanding of limitations, how the asset is to be used and what my team member might expect from the asset.
I am a generalist artist but I specialize in stylized 3D assets, mainly using the high to low poly workflow. On a day to day basis I create models in Maya and Houdini, texture in Painter and designer, and in personal project time I implement these assets into Unreal and Unity (I have used both to an extent).
I am easy going and breath all thing digital related, I love participating in game jams and traveling with friends when the opportunity presents itself. In my free time I dabble with things that I find interesting, for me recently it's been 3d printing and studying maths.
